A bid for Antionne Griezmann has been accepted to Southampton fc. The fee is undisclosed however believed to around £15million.

Jonny Daniel Selby {Ed001's Note - no longer Tony Singh then?}

Believable3 Unbelievable14

Haha nice one ed! Someone likes to make rumours up lol

Agree2 Disagree1

I believe it is because he had so blatently lied previously.

Benjie

Agree4 Disagree1

Dont belive this rumour

Agree5 Disagree2

Just looked on the tv website.

the player has this to say

""I'm happy and comfortable. I have a contract until 2016 and will not think about anything else.

"I am enjoying it here. I do not see myself anywhere other than Real. "

Pochettino is set to follow up interest in Mohamed Salah with a bid. Scouts have been monitering Salah and Dragovic at Basel since January, and Salah has impressed.

Believable15 Unbelievable9

Thought this when watching Salah in the Europa League. He looked quality. Very creative, young player.

Agree6 Disagree1

What a signing salah would be

Agree7 Disagree1

I thought it said salad

Agree0 Disagree3

I don't see no Indiana Jones

Jose Enrique is a target for the saints as Liverpool are set to sign Aly Cissokho from Valencia

Believable5 Unbelievable18

Nonsense. We couldn't give Enrique first team football. And he is well respected and liked at Liverpool.

Agree11 Disagree4

Oh good, it's got to that point where we are linked with *everyone*.

Agree13 Disagree1

Would be amazed if rodgers released him after the season he has had. can play defence or in the middle where he was really effective for the reds.

Agree4 Disagree1

Hmmm. Liverpool wouldn't want to let him go, yet we couldn't give first team football?

Agree4 Disagree2

I've never really rated him.

Agree1 Disagree5

Was in the Liverpool Echo a couple of days ago.
Would certainy add competition and can play in midfield.
Still think its an unlikely one.

Agree6 Disagree0

We shouldn't be looking at enrique for a signing

Agree0 Disagree3

Seems mad to me, he's best off at Liverpool and easily makes their first team. Plus if he joined us we'd actually find it difficult to put him in ahead of players like Clyne and Shaw cause we want them to get the experience.

Agree1 Disagree2

While Enrique may be a tad hopeful, any LB cover we need bring in has got to be better than "satisfactory. "

As good as Shaw is, he does appear to be slightly injury prone, perhaps his body is not yet up to the task of playing a full PL season yet even though he clearly has the ability.

For this reason it is important that his back up is better than average at this level as the last thing we want is Shaw being forced to play while hurt as that could lead to a serious injury that will hinder his development.

has anyone heard anymore on victor wanyama?

Believable2 Unbelievable3

We're still never, ever going to sign him

Agree13 Disagree8

I believe it may happen

Agree4 Disagree6

No chance of him coming to us class player but to dear and arsenal man city and man united won't him

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton are said to be interested but Saints are supposed favourites

Southampton's £9.2 million bid for winger Sofiane Feghouli has been accepted.

Tony Singh

Believable3 Unbelievable18

Where you hear this then, because I've looked all over internet and not found anything on him

Agree5 Disagree2

That's because it's made up

Agree17 Disagree2

He plays for Valencia and is a rm

Agree0 Disagree0

Try 16 million. No chance.

Southampton have had initial talks with Jose Manuel Cassado, who is out of contract at Rayo Vallocano. They see him as a replacement for the out going Danny Fox and someone who can provide competition for Luke Shaw.

Strong reports that Southampton F. C are on the verge of signing Roberto Firmino from Hoffenheim

Believable7 Unbelievable12

There were rumours of this around January transfer window as well. the boy seems to have attitute problem looking at his personal website :S so rather we left this one alone. doesn't seem all that good either

Agree4 Disagree0

Where are these strong reports

Agree6 Disagree0

I watched the Hoffenheim game last night. He scored two goals and looked pretty good to me.

heard through a lad who works at marchwood that charlie austin was there to meet with the management and be shown about the training complex, hope he's going to be here next year, imagine we had lambo, jrod, sharp, austin and mayuka to choose from 63 goals between them this season and that's without mayuka even scoring

Believable5 Unbelievable16

Urgh give me strength! Total utter nonsense. There's no way Mr Austin is good enough!

Agree8 Disagree9

Lambo, jrod, sharp, austin and mayuka

To choose from.
Really? You're actually impressed with that as a forward line? -. -

Agree13 Disagree6

He has done as well as JayRod was doing at that level, and as well as Lambert did. NO way he is good enough, are you a joker? Maybe you should be employed to buy players for the club.

Agree5 Disagree4

I've got news for you. we're not at that level anymore

Agree5 Disagree2

Right a lot of players who play in the championship are ready to play in the prem, Austin is one of them who has had the potential to play in the prem, he'd be good cover for Lambert, Sharp will probs be sold and we'll probs get a more established player if so too like Adrian of Athletico Madrid

Agree2 Disagree2

Would love to see austin at saints. Dseserves chance in prem

Agree3 Disagree3

Don't want him in Premiership. He has still got developing to learn and there is such a thing as stepping up too soon. Take most of the Reading team, they are actually good players but a lot of them were out of their depth because they came too soon. MacCarthy has a bright future as does Morrison and potentially Le Fondre. But they came up too soon and suffered for it.

Agree2 Disagree2

Tv say that Saints are interested
