What a stupid post.
Why list someone just because they scored against us. And I'm a Saints fan! Not all of us are deluded!

You'd be deluding yourself if you think this doesn't happen...

Hearing that Matty Phillips has visited staplewood monday - with PUNCH being part of the deal - hence why NC and punch have settled issues as Punch had refused to agree to go anywhere standing his ground
now they have shaken hands watch the next few days

If he plays Saturday I think not. He cannot play for anyone else if he plays for Saints - he will have played for the maximum amount of clubs in a season. He has also tweeted he happy to be back.

Good point, the next few days will tell,

Puncheons staying to make a new start, look at the saints website.

Is it in a calendar year? or season? I hear 50/50 views on that about playing for three clubs
Agree2
Disagree3
Well the club on the OS said he couldn't but I don't know the rules to be completely fair. All the noises from Saints seem in indicate he will play some part in the FA Cup match on Saturday.
Agree3

My understanding is that 3 clubs in a season, but still could be sold - the rule is a but confusing
I hope Punch stays he's a good player
Anyone else heard of a press conf being called today at St Marys 14:00 (billy sharp)
AW

Where did you hear that
Agree3

Did you hear that some Doncaster directors have resigned? Perhaps it's because they've sold Sharp to Saints for tuppence ha'penny. The only stuff I've heard is Mirror journalist who is supposed to have his finger on the pulse at Doncaster says this is a 'done deal' and he can't understand why it hasn't be announced.
Mind you I've heard some stuff over the year that has never come true.

Just been updated. There is a press conference at 2 o'clock but it is the usual pre-match press conference and an introduction to Lee there is going to be a largish Japanese press presence there as well. I guess someone might as Nigel Adkins about Billy Sharp though....I wonder if there are going to be any other signings?
Agree4

So if the deal is apperently done when do you expect it to be complete
Agree3
Disagree1
No idea. I only heard that a Mirror journalist reckons it is but like I said we can all probably remember 'done deals' that have never happened. Look at the Maynard/Wigan transfer at the moment. Wigan are saying all they did was enquire Bristol City are saying they're in advanced talks....you can't trust anyone. When it's on the OS is when it'll be true.

Tadanari Lee has finally completed his move to Southampton. He has signed a 2.5 year contract (with an option for another year) and will wear the number 19 shirt. He was a free transfer, and could feature in saturdays F.A. cup match away at Millwall
Believable21

He was not a free transfer

It was a free transfer, as it says in part of the article on the Saints website. "The paperwork has finally been cleared so that Lee, who will wear the number 19 shirt at Saints, has been able to rubber stamp his free transfer from Sanfrecce Hiroshima."...I was quite surprised myself to be honest

His photo on the OS looks like he's gonna kick the s**t out of everyone!

The official site says he is free

If Lee is free , does this mean SFC isn't spending, or is Lee getting a large signing on fee?
I hope SFc does have money to spend?

His signing on fee was belived to be around £750,000

Saints are seeking to tie Adam Lallana down. There have been preliminary talks about a contract extension until 2021

Funny how lallana signed a 4 and half year contract last January meaning he has three and half years remaining still. good work posting made up rubbish like that!

A 9 year contract would be unheard of.

Expect the next 6 days to be interesting, my understanding is that SFC have placed several offers, but like always sfc do business on the QT.
however speaking to a good source yesterday
Maynard - 2.8m offered and has visited staplewood
Sharpe - wanted 35k per week back in the summer, reports from Leicester say he wanted 40k from them!
but he does have the relationship with NA, this may happen
Full Back - could do with 2, however it's understood that he will come from overseas (DUTCH), like wise with a keeper - Bart will go on loan - Davis benched
I expect that next Tuesday will be exciting for us

A leopard doesn't change his spots,he's slagged Saints fans off in the past, thought nothing wrong in publicly having a go at the Chairman, saw nothing wrong by his own admission in sitting back and taking the money for 18 months or so,he was a tosser yesterday and the day and the year before and he's still a tosser. He's been told what to say to try and get back on side and our club deserve a whole lot better than Ego Puncheon. He's in a small way what's wrong with football.

Wrong with football?! he makes Tevez look like... well ... Tevez.

He has never slated the fans. Quite the reverse. Fans have made up their own rumours about punch to convince themselves he is a bad un. He has remained tight lipped right up to the weekends outburst for which he has apologised. Has a lot of support from first team and youth players. Let's give him a chance to prove himself - on the pitch
Agree7

Think the guy should be given a chance he is quality but he now has to prove it to himself and the saints fans .So get behind the saints and push onto the prem coyr

He is a bad egg. But hopefully he has learned a lesson and will knuckle down. I can support him like any other part of the team. But if he causes any problems I expect him to be out on his ear.
