I'm hearing this morning through the grapevine that "Jens Berthel Askou is at St Mary's to meet with Nigel Adkins with a view to signing on a free transfer. 6'3" Askou was released from Norwich City earlier in the summer after helping them to promotion to the Premier League. Adkins sees Askou as the man to plug the Centre Back postion which Saints have been looking all summer to fill."
He only made two appearance for Norwich last season though. He was on loan to Millwall in January and never made an appearance when he returned. not much of a target..

kaspars gorks-southampton are in advanced talks with qpr over the deal which would see puncheon go to qpr and gorkss plus cash come to st, marys. this will give saints great centre back competition.
and a championship proven striker but not sure who that could be has any body got any clue in what striker saints could sign.
