I don't believe Saints would have any problem selling the club and its project to a great number of players. However, you could equally say, certain players want something different. Depends very much on the individual and I don't think many of us can make that assessment.
Who did Kevin Keegan chose, and who predicted that? The one thing about these type of situations is that they will be unpredictable!

As unlikely as the rumour is, to say it is silly as Shaw isn't leaving shows you clearly did not read it, or you do not understand what cover means. regardless though, see very little chance of this happening. Too high profile for us, and also too high profile to be a bench warmer

Not being naive. Shaw, unlike Chamberlain, has continuously stated he doesn't want to go and the best place for his football is Southampton for the foreseeable future. Not naivety, just basic knowledge of what is going on. Also with Chamberlain we weren't in the Premiership at the time, we are with Shaw and he's a regular in the 1st 11.

I don't know if you are a Troll chelsea/poopy/other insignificant fan for this page but unlucky mate Englands future left back is signing a 5 year deal with us as he wants to play football and not sit on the bench.

This is exactly the same situation as Oxlade-C. This page was full of fans saying he wouldn't leave. Then he left. For a fee in excess of £20 million paid over 3 years (dont bleat about that either - it's how most fees are paid)

One big difference between Shaw and ox. Shaw's parents want him to stay, he wants to stay, he's more interested in playing football than money. Yes, he probably will leave one day, but not yet
