What about Lorenzo Isinge (not how it's actually spelt but it's something like that we have been heavily linked with from Napoli I think).

Naingollan or Sinclair? One is a defensive midfielder, the other is a winger. Should be Naingollan or Wanyama.

But niangolan plays on the wing as well sometimes.

He sometimes plays left handside in a narrow midfield three but he is by no means a winger.

I thought niangolan was signing for napoli, is this true ed? {Ed002's Note - Roma seems likely.}

Jesus Gamez is the latest player being strongly linked with saints. He's a Spanish RB from Malaga valued at around £5m and is 28 years old. I know what your thinking, we have Clyne and he is good enough and I agree, but don't be surprised if this happens fairly soon.

How many more? Seriously we could have about 3 sets of squads with all the signings we're apparently planning to make. Think this rumour seems unlikely though particularly because we are a team looking to the future so the younger player will be preferred.

I Knew is would get a few 'disagrees', but just remember who posted it when it happens O. K :)

Gamez would be good cover for clyne and also would compete with him

Jesus, if we could nail that signing it would be a miracle!

Southampton's top transfer targets are Victor Ruiz, Kieran Trippier, Victor Wanyama, Scott Sinclair and Adrian Lopez. Players being Replaced are Jose Fonte, Richardson/butterfield, Chaplow/Hammond, Steve DeRidder/Guly and Billy Sharp/Tadanari Lee. All senior first team players who have not featured whatsoever this season will also leave Seaborne, Forecast, Martin, Forte Etc.

Fonte won't leave as in my opinion he should be in our staring 11

Fonte in starting 11 do you ever go and watch are defence are the down fall to success

Trippier looks good in a poor burnley team, but in my opinion he isn't near Prem standard and won't be near a starting spot, or challenging for one {Ed003's Note - I think he's prem standard,might need to improve defensively but his attacking and quality of cross is very good, just my opinion mind.}
Agree2
Disagree3
Trippier would be great competition for Clyne, Fonte has been great when he's played but unfortunately Hooiveld is a liability we can't seem to shake off.
Agree2

I love how you say Fonte won't be leaving because in your opinion he should be in the starting 11. I'm pretty sure unless your NC or MP your opinion means very little and thet will get rid of whoever they want to increase the squad strength. let's be fair any player in this squad is at risk of even those that have signed a contract recently could go for the right price, ok we do not need the money but this is business at the end of the day

Fonte will stay, Hooiveld and fox will go hopefully. And if we get an offer of 15m plus for Ramirez and he isn't happy here we should let him go too.
