Southampton are eyeing a move for Lokomotiv Moscow striker Dame N'Doye. According to the Daily Star, so probably paper trash, just thought I would post the rumour

He was one of the best strikers in the Danish league when he played for FC Copenhagen, but I really didn't like him and I very much doubt he'd be a success in the Premier League. He's a very wasteful player, managing to score a goal in a game but missing 3-5 great chances. Not sure he'll get those amount of chances in the PL.

Not feeling very confident that Koeman and gang will be with us very long if we don't give them the proper financial backing for players. 41 days to rebuild a team and we haven't even got started yet. Worrying times. Just sell Lovren and get on with it.

I know you should be wary of the bookies BUT the odds on Lovren leaving have gone from 8/11 to 2/7 in the last 2 days. They are rarely wrong at these prices.

Koeman had no money at feyonord and I'm sure he was aware of the situation before he signed May take a couple of windows to get the side looking how he wants it

I sort of agree but just hope we are able to wait 2 windows as everything looks a bit of a mess at present. Can't remember any other Prem club losing all their top players in one go like we are. Poor start and we may lose others like Nat and Corky etc.

I know I have been on here a lot and I apologise for that, but just feel that something is just not right and that we as fans are being kept in the dark. I really believe we have the funds to more or less buy whoever we want (within reason) but something has just struck me. Do you think that agreeing terms with the players clubs is not the problem and that the real problem is we are not prepared to meet the players wage demands? We have heard time and again that players came here on lower contracts than offered by other clubs on the selling of our intention to progress quickly to be a club with European qualification capability. Lovren ( acting a bit like AL unfortunately ) wants to jump ship but if you believe the interviews he gave he was apparently sold this vision. If this is so I think we will struggle to attract players here especially when they see our mass exodus, I think they would have very little confidence that the dream could come true.

Its all well and good offering average players £70-£80,000 a week but what happens when the money eventually runs out or the club is sold to somebody with a tight budget? Learn from Portsmouths mistakes.

Jamie is right: wages have to be sustainable

But there is another issue: what if the players Saints want actually don't want to sign for Southampton

@chrisdownj I understand your dismay, it's been tough recently. However there is no need to panic or come up with conspiracies. The transfer window has only just opened and will be open for another 7 weeks! Also, training only started last week & Koeman needs time to get to know the squad to make sure everyone is comfortable with each other before introducing new signings.

I can't tell you for sure what is going on at the club but I can tell you there is no reason to panic, in two months time you'll be smiling, the 2014/15 campaign will be successful, just you wait and see!

I know what you're saying but can't help wondering why the likes of Tadic and Pelle aren't done and dusted. If they were other players might see this to be true ambition to rebuild. I am afraid I'm bit of a glass half empty person but then I am a lifetime Saints supporter! But we will never be like that lot down the road luckily we got rid of the QPR manager just in time, phew!!
