I suspect, just like the previous two signings from Celtic, he will be judged as rubbish and a waste of money within the first month.
However, Ryan back shortly and that will mean we have real options across the back four. RoKo will then have the flexibility to rotate according to what he sees in training and that is likely to bring us back towards the efficient defence we had last season. Once we are there, the rest of the team will gain in confidence and fluidity. League will be more competitive this season but top 6 still possible.

I believe our squad looks strong, once everyone is available. Our back line looks very good. Some people say we need more firepower. But I'm sure I heard on Sundays commentary of the Norwich game, that we've got the most shots away in the premier league? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct, and against 10 men I suppose it was understandable. But, Jay looked to have a lot more fiss about him and is coming back to how we remember him. And Long never got off the bench! Mane put in a real performance, yet you could see he has a lot more potential still. Real competition now in the forwards.

We might have got the most shots away Chippie but most of them hit the corner flag!

Just to say Saint Martin, completely disagree about Mane on Sunday, I thought he had an awful game. 2 assists yes but looked very sloppy the rest of the time and unbelievably selfish at times.

Agree Jay seemed like his old self again and was unlucky not to score. Still think we're short an attacking option, if Pelle gets injured don't quite know what we'll do but J-Rod can hopefully help us in that department.

COYS!

Saintsfan I would just like to point out that COYS = come on you spuds
COYR = come on you reds ( for us saints fans )

Simply put. If Mane gets injured then we lose the ability to unlock defences. If Pelle gets injured then I think we will struggle in a big way.
It's too much risk to put all the eggs in one basket with both those players. Cover should have been brought in.
On the plus side, give Tadic more game time for once. Not too many creative players to have him sit on the bench.

Since spurs are more popular of course they're going to be the first to pop up on social media, and the one used most often. Doesn't mean we don't use COYS. And last time I checked COYR is associated to the Mancs at OT.
