CP has just said he expects a signing this week and Fonte to stay! I hope both are true and it's another centre back as we are short there.

Thanks Luke, just read CP confirm he wants Fonte to stay. We do need to bring in a few more players. CB cover, quick winger and a goal scorer. I'm worried we're going to have a long season and with a couple injuries, we look light!

Apparently Saints have initiated an approach to Napoli for Gabbiadini - spot on dsj20v. Also Claude has stated that The club have no intention of selling Fonte. Gabbiadini is 24yrs or and 6ft 1in and main position is centre forward.

Claude is very interested and will want to fast track any potential contract. Looks pretty good - what do other people think.

Latest rumours coming out of Italy is that Southampton are in talks with the player and Napoli about a transfer deal. Gabbiadini would be a very promising replacement for Pelle. Would be great if this happens - cross fingers. COYR's.

Manolo gabbiadini would be a good signing imo can at target man, central or wider if needed and only 24 just hope he can handle the rigour of the premier league.
