Just wondering if the unnamed premier club who had a bid rejected by Leeds for Chris Wood was Saints? I've seen previous rumours of an interest.

Leeds have rejected a bid of £16m for striker Chris Wood according to Sky Sports. The offer is from an unnamed Premier League club. One source has told us this evening that Burnley have also had a £12m bid rejected for the player, although we understand this latest offer is not from the Clarets. Burnley have yet to confirm they have made a bid.

Saints have better strikers anyway they should aim higher than Chris wood.

I think Wood would be a good addition. Can score a penalty for a start.
