Read that Southampton are favourites to sign Mario Balotelli. Any truth in this Ed’s? If he can continue the form he’s been on at Nice he’d be exactly what we need.

Balotelli could be more of a problem than Osvaldo surely that couldn’t be a sensible move.

Thanks Ed. Knew he was out of contract wondered if that might prompt Nicr to sell. He could be, but he’s on good form scoring for fun. Granted in an easier league but it’s clear we need something and I worry that Gaitan or Carillo may not have had enough game time to hit the ground running.
