Looks to me that us, Liverpool and Everton are showing the way in terms of bringing young players through and now suddenly I'm seeing other clubs do the same, Wickham at Sunderland, Wilson and Lawrence at Man U, Kane at Spurs, Woodrow at Fulham, Albrighton at Villa, good to see other are copying our example, maybe England will win a world cup, one day!

Sorry couldn't let this one go - 'Showing the way'?! How arrogant can you get. As if Manchester United/Sunderland/Spurs/Villa/Fulham have glanced over at you and seen your revolutionary way of bringing through youth players. Honest to god it baffles me some of the personic self indulgent delusional tripe I see some of you come up with. To think the 'Class of 92' would never have existed without Southampton's infamous 'Class of 91'.

Uhh sorry did you read what I said? I listed Everton and Liverpool in that to and said that all three leading the way in terms of player development, which you can tell by the amount of players in the England squad and of course other teams are looking at the way we bring through youth players, ever heard of Bale? The one that went for 80m? Him and many others have come through our academy so ofcourse other team will look at it, I'm not saying it's the reason they're playing their young player, but by Saints, Liverpool and Everton have all had fantastic seasons largely to do with the youth player we've brought through and if other teams see that it's working why wouldn't they give it a go? And it has worked for them as the players I listed have done well and I never mentioned a class of 92, so don't know what your smoking, probably an angry Utd fan being spiteful over your great season.

{Ed007's Note - You're having a laugh aren't you? Pick Liverpool's best starting XI and see how many of them were brought through their youth system. If you want to get picky about giving players a platform then that's a different situation altogether and Spurs deserve the credit for where Bale is.}

Steerling, Flanagan and Gerrard all from there academy, it obviously needs to be more than that in the future, what I meant was based on this season they have given players like Steerling and Flanagan a chance and both have done well, whilst Rodger could have easily have stuck with Coutihno and Enrique all the time, by doing this they are widening the pool of English players to pick from, Bale was just an example all I meant by that was we have reputation for developing young talent, so why wouldn't other clubs look at us and want to know how we do it. It was a meant to be a possible thing anyway that more young player are getting chances and doing well, it's a step in the right direction at least
