Not a rumour. but;

we have a great team
we have a great academy
a £30m training facility
no debt
a new stadium
a stream of great young talent
a board with money and business sense
we play in the Premier league
we start the season with 0 points!
its all good
so what if the manager changes
so what if we don't pay our players 100k a week
its all good
almost every club in Europe except the top 20 would swap places with us
almost every manager with ambition will move to Southampton
sorry ED - not a rumour - just some facts.

Wasn't there talk of debt remaining over previous transfers and the training ground? Either way, very good points, and cause for optimism!

^ the transfer debt is completely normal for every club to have, it's just more than Cortese had let on

As the above post said, transfer debt is normal, most clubs don't pay the full transfer fee up front, I know Lovren has such a clause in his contract
