This maybe controversial, but don't actually think we need a striker. not as much as we need a CB anyway! We now have J Rod, Long, Austin, Redmond, Boufal and probably even Tadic! Who could fill in if need be, CB we need quality cover! Callum Chamber loan would do the job and cover the RB slot too so we can let Martina go if need be.

I think we need both to be honest mate. Our play is based on our full backs bombing on and getting crosses in the box. We need someone in the mould of Pelle or Lambert to get on the end of those crosses and currently we have no one capable of bullying centre halves as the two I mentioned. I think Florin Gardos is capable of being a good centre back if he didn't think he was Franz bloody Beckenbaur but if i'm honest I don't know how close he is to being fit. But another one wouldn't go amiss as Yoshida is clearly not good enough for the prem and Stephens isn't quite ready just yet.
