Fail to beat Stoke or not appear to
play well then Puel will be gone.

And rightly so.

So if this happens, who would you have the board replace him with?

I am not one to just call for his head without good reason but I think that just nailed Puel: Nit good enough guys and lack of goals will surely seal his fate now. Amazed we still finished 8th! But look st our points tally this season:
Let's hope for this investment quick and get the manager situation sorted early. COYR: is.

I spent year after year happily supporting saints through premiership survival, relegation battles and last day heroics ( normally from le god) but feel we are at a point in the road where if we continue with this current setup we are destined for that again. the only problem being clubs have huge amounts of money we don't have anyone who can actually perform last day heroics. Today would of been the same even if we needed to win to stay up. The other way is also an uncertain one that could destroy the club. foreign takeovers and blown wage structures and changing rooms. I'm not asking for premiership titles or champions league football just a good brand of football with happy players who are playing for the team and the fans and a transparent set up fronted by a manager who is right to produce that for the club. Puel may very well be a fantastic coach but does he fit at southampton. that result could be more damaging than points lost and boos ringing but players who were undecided may of just made their minds up. I know that any summer planning needs to happen early doors. I watch with eager but anxious eyes.
