Hi Ed,
Thank you for your article on Rhian brewster and the Liverpool defence, which to a Saints supporter was a real eye opener. It was so refreshing watching the Under17s play with no fear and demonstrate how simple a game football really is. let's hope this is not coached out of them at club level! The article by Adam re the Liverpool defence was also an eye opener regarding the calibre of the players and also as stated that the LFC transfer policy seems flawed to say the least which for a huge club like Liverpool is astonishing. Adam very accurately appraised the players strengths and weaknesses and surely both the players and coaching staff see the same issues and would address and rectify them. I wonder how many of us in the work place could get away with making the same basic errors time and time again! I think we all know the answer. For my part there are 2 phrases I cannot stand in football a) weaker foot b) lack of concentration. At this level these players should be comfortable with both feet and a game is 90 minutes! Anyway rant over and please keep up the good work.
Regards vs.

{Ed001's Note - I will let Adam know mate. He posts under the name MK Scouser in case he decides to pop over to see what you said.}

Hi Vintage Saint. Thanks mate. Really appreciate your comment. I totally agree by the on the weaker foot thing!

When I was a kid I played as a striker mainly and if I hit a shot on my right foot that should've been hit with my left, even if it went in my dad criticised me for it. I practised so hard with my left foot that I am now two footed, and take better set pieces with my left foot despite being naturally right footed!

If I could practice as an amateur and a child with no proper coaching, how can a professional not do the same with access to the best facilities and nothing else but football to do with their time?

I agree as well on concentration mate. It should be a prerequisite of any player in my opinion. I've read your post further down about Van Dijk not picking up Murray and that is a prime example of why I'm unsure on him signing for Liverpool.

Thanks again for reading mate. Surprised a fan of a different team wanted to so it means a lot to here back from you. Good luck for the season buddy. I will try and pop in from time to time!

Hi Adam, yes I totally agree with you, I coached kids football a long time ago and we worked on developing the kids so that they could at least control and kick with their weaker foot, rather than just stand on it. Football is football I can understand why players want to play for a bigger, better team and earn more money, but there are ways of going about it! . I particularly like Mauricio Pochettino's style of management and play unfortunately we wouldn't or couldn't keep him at SFC but Spurs play fabulous football. Sorry didn't mean to rub it in, anyway keep up the good work, I am now in the USA so watch all my soccer on TV. Regards vs.

Yeah the wounds are a bit sore mate, but I can't deny that Poch plays some great stuff! He does need to win a major trophy soon though or he'll start losing credibility for me. He has the best starting XI, player for player, in England. Thanks again mate, and keep flying the football flag in the US of A. It'll be the biggest sport there soon enough!

Thanks very much very much for the feedback, I thought it'd be a nice change to post about a youngster and what better time was there than to post after Brewster had become so well known this past week.

{Ed033's Note - I'm confused; at the bottom of the Rhian Brewster article it says written by DaRedMan, Is DaRedMan also called Adam?
