In my view another very unsuccessful transfer window. Great for the club getting a decent a profit but our striker signing is really only replacing JRod from back in the summer.
None of this is the managers fault as in this day and age it is the board who looks after transfers.
Our Manager doesn't look premier league quality and seems out of his depth. He might do in time but we just haven't got that luxury.
He also was appointed by the board.
What i'm getting at is maybe its time for Les Reed to be replaced? He has been behind a lot of our failure over the last months. Granted he also had a lot to do with our success but we are in a results lead business and he isn't producing them.
I wonder what the new owner is thinking at the moment. His investment will drop dramatically if we are relegated.

I think you will find Reed has lived off Cortese's success and now that is starting to fade. There was a reason he was voted the worst manager ever, he does not know football. I have supported this club for years and didn't think we could get anybody as bad as Lowe but with this board we are definitely trying to match him. Wonder what will happen to all their great contacts in US amd Asia when we are a championship club I am sure they will lose interest along with Virgin media back to draper tools I think lol.

Reed was able to live off of the success of Poch and RK and was able to feed off of their positivity, skills and achievements. Now the abject lame duck that is MP can muster nothing positive he is exposed as being a sham. If he had any self respect he would fall on his sword and go- NOW! But I guess he will take his unearned fat salary as long as somebody is willing to pay it.
