Report on last nights game against Celta Vigo

First Half
Man of the Half Stewart Armstrong - Full of forward pressing play, cleaver passes, great vision and a couple of decent efforts.
Gabbiadini - Great to see him back on form, quick and looking good. Vestergaard looks a monster.
Sam McQueen, Oriol Romue working hard.

Stephen Davis and Shane Long, sorry guys, its time to call it a day, you have both served us well, but time to go.

Second Half
Man of the Half - Matt Targett, Quality, playing out of position on the Right but brilliant awareness, crossing superb and has to stay.
Ryan Betrand is not a Captain, we have to sort this out, looked like tail end of last year, disinterested, shame.
Charlie worked hard and does what he does best "Scored" Armstrong and Targett linked well.
JWP Struck well from open play and Mo finished of the rebound well.
Overall satisfying! Mark Hughes will know that Davis and Long cannot start on Saturday and probably might not again!

And no Lemina, nor Redmond on bench. I assume we'll see Cedric and Yoshida Saturday.

Armstrong will do a great job for you lads, i was gutted when he left Celtic, he can ghost past players and can score you a few goals, all the best for the coming season lads.

Just about spot on Pete. I'm not sure Sam McQueen was that effective but Targett was outstanding second half. Think yosh might be down the pecking order now.
