Freak results sometimes happen in football like a League 2 team going to a premier league side and turning them over in their back yard.

But this was no freak - this was on the cards. We are a truly awful side lacking leadership at Board level, in the dug out and on the pitch.

We are gutless - a group of light weights who have humiliated the club. No passion, no idea, no nothing.

This is without doubt the worst Saints side I have ever watched.

The worst thing that could possibly have happened was winning at Chelsea. All of a sudden we thought we had a great young manager and a revitalised team. How wrong could we be.

What happened tonight was unacceptable and was probably even worse than the 9-0s.

Yes we're down, but we have absolutely no chance bouncing straight back with the current personnel.

We deserve better - those multi millionaire fraudsters will put this behind them come lunch time tomorrow, but I will never forgive them.

I've been a Saints fan and supporter for 60 years and was a season ticket holder for over 30 years. I followed my club all over the country whatever league we were in. I've seen good and bad football during the years but even when we've lost there's normally some good bits to pick up on. The only good bit against Grimsby was the final whistle. Absolutely gutless performance.

You can moan about the managers you can moan about the players, but this is down to sports Republic. Total gross mismanagement they though in the summer, they could bring in a load of young players Make them better players and sell them for a profit but the players they brought are not good enough now we are paying the price if a player is not good enough there is nothing you can do bednarek put out on load because he was not good enough then we ask him to come back and save us what a joke if he was not good enough then he is not good enough now caleta clueless we need a completely new defence we are down Rasmus needs to go
