So we are finally having the 80% bought by someone new!
But I must ask, why is there so much hatred towards the Leibherr family? Particularly Katharina?
Her Father put huge amounts of money into our club. She only got involved in the club on the sudden death of her father. Of course her heart was never fully in it; she barely had time to mourn.
So why is there so much real hatred? Have I

I'm in total agreement with you. Without her family, there would be no team to support. Supported saints for 60 yrs and the LIEBHERR family will go down in history as saviors of Southampton FC

Not quite as long as you, started going to the Dell in 1965, so another life long fan.
Also was was/is not appreciated, is that huge parts of the Liebherr investments were written off and not treated as loans. Many a PL club has huge debt overheads; I believe (feel free to correct me) is owed not far off a billion by Chelsea.

Anyway, Katharina had no interest in SFC, had her own life. She is suddenly thrust into the limelight, while having to mourn her father’s death.
But I read so many social media posts slating her/hating her. So what if she is wealthy, I’m sure she’d rather have her father back.
