"Was never given a chance. " Sorry, that is nonsense. The guy picked up a serious injury shortly after joining Saints and is hardly likely to overcome this and suddenly jump into the Premiership and be a sensation. He has been given every opportunity now to show what he can do but I seriously doubt if he is the quality (or will become so) to compete in the top half of the EPL.

You're going to hate this but, if it wasn't for the main squad including Lambert, Schneiderlin, Lallana, Fonte etc. we would have found out that Nigel Adkins is not a great football manager. Love the guy but he just got lucky with the squad he had. Look at all the deadwood we are trying to get rid of now. Go on then shoot me. What I believe though.!

Arnt we jumping the gun a bit. Top ten? let's see if we can be top ten before deciding he can't cope with it. I think he can play a part, and it's up to the boy to prove that. Let him have his chance, that's all anybody deserves.

Yes, I said top 10 because the signings Saints have recently made are very much aimed at achieving that. I don't think Lee has that sort of quality but would like to be proven wrong.

Good to see Chung back in the squad. Think he would of been there last season if he had not of suffered such a bad injury so early in his Saints career. Obviously MoPo has seen enough to warrant a place in the 1st team squad after his loan last season. Good cover as a AM and for JRod.

Sorry! Have to disagree with the comment about Nigel Adkins and his deadwood, were now getting rid off those players because they were the players we needed at that time inorder to gain promotion and cement our position in the prem, now we are moving on, Its called Progression.

St Martin if he hasn't had a game in the prem how can we expect him to prove he's good enough? He's only appeared in the cup where he did fairly well IMO, we should see how he does against better opoposition first

Here is the pacey winger that people having been asking for. Yes he is meant to be a forward but has quick feet and would be good out wide. Interesting that he's just been included back into the squad after the transfer window closed. Not being too cynical but his inclusion is probably because we didn't get in a transfer target. Good luck though TL, hope you do great.

Might be fair to give him another go but anyone who saw his performance at leeds in the league cup last season should be a bit worried. I was amazed that after that game we did not offload him.

Was simply not up to the physical challenge they presented.

I watched him playing for the under 21s a couple of times and his abilities did not stand out. He went back to Japan and often warmed the bench there. Unless we get a few injuries he is no where near the starting 11.

I thought the best thing about him on the pitch was the little bow to all four corners he did when being substituted off. Nearly as useful as Rudi Skacel's wave to the crowd at each corner he took.

It is on the website that he is now in the official first team squad.

I would take him as 4th choice striker all day long, West Ham only have 2 and one is always injured LOL. Expect a win on Sunday for sure.

Hi 'big units' will be test for us but they are a side we need to take points off at home if we want to be in PL next season.

How are fickle are some fans? Saying Nigel Adkins was lucky to have back to back promotions? I believe, people are forgetting the good work he done. Was it just Lambert and Fonte who got us to the premier league? No you don't realise how much planning, and time he gave up to fire us back into the premier league.
