A very worrying rumour doing the rounds that we are interested in Bendtner.

I saw a betting company's response to this tweet. Something along the lines of 'sorry Southampton fans, the news just gets worse'.

I must be the only one not bothered by this. He is obvioulsly wouldn't be our first choice but he is FREE and as squad players go we could do a lot worse!
People were calling for Billy Sharp/Tadanari Lee to be given chances when they were in a squad, IMO he is better than those two.
Get him and Mayuka as back up for Pelle and another top striker.

Got to be better than nothing, could be one of those players that struggles at one club but thrives at another. Doesn't mean a lot I know, but he's got a pretty decent international record
