Word on the floor at the black tie Saints Foundation do at St Marys last night is that we will be getting Mohamed Salah on loan from Chelski in January for the remainder of the season. You heard it here first.

With Mani off to play in Africa Cup Salah would be a good loan signing - Chelsea want to offload him and it would make sense as cover. Koeman has admitted he is looking at 2 additions in the January window. Ward prowse and Jay Rodrigues on the way back soon and spider and Toby close to a return. 3 pts on Saturday then we will get past Sheffield Utd in the cup. Recent blip will soon be forgotten. COYR

As I'm still to be convinced of Mane's talent, hopefully Salah will have enough Premiership experience and will want to impress like Bertrand, so it could be a very shrewd move.

Apart from the fact that mourinho has ruled out a move, and salah will be in the african cup of nations as well this all seems reasonable.

I can confirm Egypt have not qualified so this rumour is completely reasonable

As a team that are well in the race for Europe, in my opinion we should be trying to sign world talents such as bruno martins indi, especially as toby is injured we need someone that can really buff the back line up!
