Find myself checking the os every hr at the moment expecting/ hoping/ willing us to sign the (imo) 3 players we need and are desperate for. Though I know it will not happen i'd like to see boufal or stanciu cam sorted, de vrij or sule this sort of young cb and someone to replace steve davis now hear me out I know he is like a heartbeat to our team with his runing but we lack pace and I find myself getting very frustrated with davis as he seems to lack creativity, finishing even when it comes to a simple pass or when he tries to take free kicks this is my opinion he is frustrating as he is technically nowhere near the best sometimes I even wonder about premier league standard as if it wasnt for his workrate he would not be in this league we need an upgrade.

I think your criticism is a bit unfair. I remember when Poch came in thinking that Davis would never adapt to that style of football. But he did. He's a real workhorse, and every team needs that. But, I think that if the Boufal deal is completed you may get your wish, though. Romeu as defensive mid, Boufal on left, Hojbjerg/ JWP on right, and Tadic behind strikers. Personally, I would say that the inclusion of Davis would be reason enough for Puel to consider a 4-2-3-1.

I understand the Davis frustration, however he is an important part of the team, for now; his passing range and link up play has been invaluable in recent seasons. Harrison Reed looks to be moulded as his successor, most clubs need a player like him - look at Kanté at Chelsea or Milner at Liverpool.

Creativity will come through Tadic and perhaps Boufal, if rumours are true, who would either rotate with Tadic or move to the wing in a 4-3-3.
Otherwise forward runs from the fullbacks will make us an attacking threat so there's no need for concern.
