Just Posted this on Transfer Tavern, they suggested selling JWP for £10 Million and spending it on a striker Bas Dost - This was my reply!

Think Bas Dost would be cracking if he is for sale, he's been mentioned on Saints Rumours a few times. We don't need to sell JWP for £10 million though, better to sell Lamina for £30 million to West Ham - Spurs or Man City, ideally Man City and get Patrick Roberts as part x plus £20 million and spend that on Alcacer or Dosh, don't mind which.
If JWP can just click from open play, he is a future England Captain, Lallana took this long to get going but he has to step up this year, I think he will!

We don't want to loose James Ward-Prowse - Matt Targett - Sam McQueen or Sam Gallagher, all English, All raised at our academy and all "Our Future" just looked at who Wolves have bought this year, about 8 players, not one English player, they have to bring in a rule to make teams have say 8 of the 25 as English, otherwise we are going to loose our identity and not have a conduit for our home bred youngsters. Does anybody agree or am I a Space Monkey.?

I'd quite like the Premiership to adopt rules similar to the chinese super league which says that teams can use up to three foreign players in a match but can't use more foreign players than u21 domestic players, so if a team plays 1 u21 player they can only use one foreign player etc.

Agree. Not sure about England captain but jwp is a saints captain. We need to keep the local lads. Our youth team. Our heart. Our whole bloody philosophy! Letting jwp and targett go would be beyond stupid.
