So now we hear Wolves are interested in Ramsdale. Do we have a cunning plan up our sleeve? I suppose we will find out in 11 days time.

Wolves are supposedly offering an obligation to buy (presumably at Arsenal's asking price) and to cover his wages. If this is true then it is not an offer we could realistically make.

Maybe we could make an equivalent offer if we didn’t throw good money after bad with speculative buys such as Archer, Fernandes (if that happens) and the list goes on not to mention the settlements we’ve had to make with an even longer list of awful managers.

It’s not that we haven’t had the money to afford a top GK, it’s more a case of squandering it on poor or unnecessary signings.

Arsenal have lined out their third choice keeper and now have no cover for Raya/ramsdale. They will need to buy a keeper before letting Ramsdale leave. Arteta will not risk losing the chance of the premier league title in letting Ramsdale leave and having no cover for Raya.
