If we do go up. We should follow Sunderland and buy 7 or 8 quality players around 20m each, then sell 7 or 8 (Downes, Archer Sugawara etc.) for 50m.

Loan out some young guys to the Championship to help us if we go back down, like we did with Charles.

Prem quality GK, 2 CBs, RB, ST, AM plus cover then Leo, Fellows, Charles, etc. in there and I think we could even survive!

You need to reign it in a little bit ?, we went on an unbeaten run and promoted with RM and had the worst time in our clubs history in the Premier league.

I'm not sure if I want promotion or not even if we have a great season. I think it will depend on he manager situation and how good he/or whoever it is in the transfer window in January. That will give us some idea of their squad building capabilities going forward.

This post did not age well after Millwall! We struggle without Leo.

It's a good debate if better to have another season. If the best players stay, it could be good for us but lose Leo, Charles and Jander and up against better relegated sides next season and we could wallow a while.

Last time we added 3 quality new players (Dibling, Rambo and Fernandes), lost Che and Stu, had to spend big on THB and Downes and wasted money on rest. Buy 7 or 8 proper players not bargain bin gambles and we could surprise a few.
