Hi again guys,

I read that RH is looking at Boufal again himself soon and bearing in mind RH and his staff's coaching abilities, I struggle with this concept of simply writing off expensive players like Carillo, Hoedt, Forster or players falling out of favour with managers, when Hoedt came from Lazio he had been a regular, so how do players become crap in another team? We all have our wish list of players we want to see but we have so many on loan who will be coming back that it surely has to make sense for RH to make a decision one way or another? Coyr.

The difference with hoedt is that RH has seen hoedt and didn't want him. Whether down to attitude or ability, he dropped instantly and let him go out on loan so hoedt won't be coming back in to the team at all.
Carrillo just isn't a RH Type of striker.
Again with forster, RH has seen him train for 6 months. He knows if he wants him or not. Gunn is our number 1 so forster either stays as a number 2 keeper with McCarthy sold, or vice versa.
Boufal is in with a shot, but he will need to have changed his whole attitude and work rate to stay on and get a game.

After watching how Ralph has improved JWP and Redmond I'd like to see if he can get Boufal playing to his full potential. I agree with you MilkySaint that a lot of Boufals problem is his attitude but I believe that Ralph can get him working for the team. There's no doubting his ability. He just needs to knuckle down and show that he can be a team player. I really don't want to see Hoedt back. He was an absolute liability and Carillo just didn't seem interested. I'm not sure that either Forster or McCarthy will be happy sitting on the bench so I think they could both go if we could get a decent offer for them although I'm not sure who we could bring in as backup to Gunn.

@teejaysaint Allegedly we're close to signing Fiorentina's Dragowski; who made a record-breaking 17 saves in a match against Atalanta (Serie A) .

Be good to have Gunn and Dragowski pushing each other for the number 1 jersey. Hopefully we could then get a decent amount for Forster and McCarthy. Still need a good central defender, a striker and a speedy winger. Also cover at right back and ship out the deadwood.
