Long already offers us what these rumoured strikers would. While he's bad out wide, he always impresses me when he plays central. A midfielder is actually what we need; especially one who can create chances and get goals. While Davis can create chances he can't shoot to save himself and we could do with some more Tadic-like creativity from that position. If we buy there then i believe we will have a better chance of finishing top4/top6, as opposed to another striker who wouldn't affect our league position much.

The reason Pelle isn't scoring at the moment is mainly because of the lack of chances created for him. We were previously relying on Tadic for that but he hasn't been himself lately. I think another creative player would also take the weight off Tadic's shoulders

Matt grimes needs more time at Exeter to develop and we have plenty of midfielders ourselves coming through. Jay Rod and Morgan would require some serious money from Spurs and why would they go to a club that will finish below us ? Have faith in Keoman getting the backing of our board and getting in at least 2 more for us to push on - it was always going to be hard to break into the top 4 and a top 6 finish would be a fantastic achievement COYR

Find it very unlikely Spider will go to spuds now. Think he will give us the season then some really big clubs will be interested. Could see someone like Barca or PSG going for him. He's still at a good age, and there really isn't much better in his position.
