we are being linked to 22 year old attacking mid Hakim Ziyech of FC Twente. I can see this deal going through as FC Twente currently are second last in the Eredevisie and he may want to leave.

I'd like it if we made a marquee signing to lift he club and the existing players and show our intent

There are players with potential in every team, just 'cause they're in a different league or a team who aren't right at the top of their league doesn't make them bad and it doesn't mean they wouldn't be good in a better team.

Agree with SaintySaintSaint. Letissier in the 90s team for example, are we forgetting? Vaney from no-league?

Hakim Ziyech has been incredible this season, he has 10 goals and 5 assists from midfield in 18 matches. That's more than 80% of Twente's goals this season (18). Whatsmore he is the captain of the club and only 22 years old. Do some research before blindly criticsing.
