Given it seems dead quiet with nothing in the way of incomings, assuming a budget of £10m and three players, who would you like to see us sign this month?

For me;
Would have been Patterson from Sunderland before we brought Peretz in, but maybe one for summer if not now.

Boly I think might be a low risk option, would be next to nothing, bring leadership, no nonsense defending, but the risk is his legs have gone.

Think we should be all over Josh Sargent. Don't know how he's still at Norwich. But that'd likely be a pricey choice.

I'd also not say no to selling to desperate PL clubs (have we taken enough off West Ham?) for Harwood-Bellis or Archer.

I’m not sure whether it’s new players we need or new mindsets we need. I would definitely welcome some no-nonsense straight talking leadership in our ranks, but there will be limited choice if £10M is all we can scrape together.

Charles coming back will hopefully be a big plus. I’m fed up with Downes who is a shadow of his former self - never on the front foot and always at risk of yellow/red card because he’s slow to respond to what’s going on around him.

I used to be a big critic of Manning but he has been playing with some fire in his belly. Trouble
Is he’s limited technically meaning he doesn’t create enough down the left flank.

Oh and get rid of Stephens - maybe to Eastleigh!

Downes, THB, Stephens need to go for me as a priority. We just seem to have so, so many players who are never near the team. Edozie, Fraser, Stewart, Aribo, and how much are Romeu’s wages.

I imagine they aren’t going to splurge anything at all unless we can sell but those names listed give the club next to nothing on the pitch. It’s all such a mess which is all the more frustrating given a top two spot would be there for the taking if we were a competently run club.

I’ve heard nothing on any incoming players. I’ve been told the hierarchy are concentrating on moving out high earners but no names mentioned.
I still think we need a centre forward, Wilson would be perfect! He and Stewart game managing would be really good. Until we change to 442, Archer and Armstrong will never get the support they need.
How about, McCarthy Elart THB Wood Manning Charles Jander Azaz Scienza AA Wilson to start with Roeslov Downes Bragg Fellows Stewart Archer On the bench. Charles can play centre back
