So O'Riley is actually interested in joining Southampton well he's happy to join us maybe the chance of us getting O'Riley is now kinda higher hopefully we do get him.

I don't know what to say tbh. Sure we won a cup game but in the league we are garbage. B-TEC Pep tries using possession ball and it clearly doesn't work I'm starting to realise he will realise his mistakes way too late or not even reaged his mistake.
15 million for Archer or around that mark and he really hasn't proved to be worth that much imo. I still don't think we have a team that scores goals. Possession ball doesn't work for us let's use the wings get crosses in big Paul could header it in. Start using players we paid for we aren't in the champions league to give our 'best' players a break.

The good news is that we scored 7 goals in one game, which is 2 more than we scored against Cardiff in the previous round - ok, don’t get picky!
I think one of the decisions RM did get right was dropping Armstrong for last weeks clash against United. I thought Armstrong really struggled last night. When your confidence goes, so does your first touch and that was evident last night.
You’re probably right about Archer AlwaysASaint, but for me Diaz was even worse when he came on. I think we’ve been sold a couple of pups.
Others have said it, but surely last night was the time to go with Tall Paul. Whenever (and let’s be honest - it’s a rarity) we break down the bye line and swing a cross in, there’s generally only either Armstrong or Arxhet (not both) in the box and even if they stood on each others shoulders Tall Paul would tower over them.

I'm tired of us losing, There are improvements and RM is showing some flexibility but this is starting to look like we are in a rut. No wins.
I agree with Murph St Raven I would say RM HAS to win to stay as the manager or I would say he needs to get sacked. Basic Improvements is a start we got to start winning to have a chance of staying up we deserve to stay up.

This may sound stupid but what if we got chiesa instead of Fraser and bbd sure we are losing 2 players for 1 but he is really pacey and left also stealing a player before Liverpool would've been hilarious tbh.
Ik financially we probably could've not done it and why would he join Southampton but still. He would've been a better winger that the ones we have rn imo

I love Southampton and it's just plain sad that we are sitting in the drop zone back down the the championship. Russell being the arrogant manager he is, is not changing tactics to try get us wins. I don't think Russell ball helps us and we need a manager with an attack sense of football if Russ does get sacked I'm annoyed he isn't changing the strategy but I'm going to give him one more game if he doesn't lead us to victory he's got to go

I think we need a midfielder a striker and a keeper. Keeper Ramsdale on loan seems likely O' Riley doesn't it looks like that as we are interested in getting Carvahlo and since bigger clubs are now interested in Matt. Striker wise I think Gnonto should be nabbed Leeds are in the championship Summerville has been nabbed by the hammers and Galatasaray have got Sara from Norwich. And Gnonto is a good striker in the championship when we were there. So I think he'll be good in the prem for us

As for Ramsdale it's going to be tough to get him probably I think Newcastle is our opponent to get his signature but as Newcastle have Pope already I think we technically have an upper hand.
There also is De Gea who is old but is free only issue is his contract he recently rejected a move to real betis over the contract

I think O'Riley will definitely be a hard player to secure he openly said he prefers Atalanta and why wouldn't he they'll be playing Champions League I believe. However, I believe that Atalanta want him to be Koopmeiners replacement so if he doesn't leave will Matt be on the bench? I guess we'll see
Another potential big signing that we allegedly are interested in is youssoufa moukoko young talented striker from Dortmund wants to leave and allegedly wants to come abroad it will be a challenge to get him hur if he could we definitely will have a team that should be mid table if not just scraping into the top 10.
Also another player we are allegedly interested in the Amad Lauriente not much to say really comes from sassulo so I guess they speak Spanish which can help Alcaraz settle in a bit more comfortably.

I would sell Armstrong icl even if we don't get Yuri if we have enough time I would try poach another attacking player that leads us to goals. I'm surprised we haven't tried tapping into the free agency there's some solid players in there but obv they might not want to play for Southampton but 2 years ago I would've not expected us to sign Ramsdale so it's a worthy try
Like maybe going for depay or something

I assume so as Hoffenheim were set to buy him however he had an issue with his medical which lead them wanting a cheaper price or pulling out of negotiations.
I still would play ABK he's miles clear of Stephens he may be injury prone but I watched him defend against Ronaldo and he was doing amazing so I got faith in the guy that he still would be a really good center back

It does seem that way I can understand they stopped the deal even Biljow himself said I can understand however our greatest weaknesses is creativity and a keeper that can prevent the ball going in and Biljow would've been amazing with only a few days remaining I'm not optimistic that we'll sign Ramsdale as we are only looking for a loan to my understanding and Arsenal want a loab to buy 30m to buy him after the loan spell.
Imo I would've taken the Biljow gamble we don't have long to deadline day and we haven't signed a capable keeper nor a creative attacker it does seem like the board is happy for us to be a yo-yo club at the moment and it doesn't look like Martin is going to change his ways of possession no goal ball
We are selling one really good player to Brazil to bring a player from Brazil to us but like Aribo how do we know if he'll perform in the prem he might be good in one league but one of the most competitive leagues in the world? Maybe.
I'm not going to say Martin out but my hopes in the guy is dropping his tactics are not helping the club and it seems like we are diving down to last place if we continue on this path
