Daniel Sturridge being linked if he stays fit he would be a good addition as he's not scared to shot.

I’m worried at the fact we’re getting linked to a lot of very injury prone players! Yes I would be happy to have Sturridge but if he stays fit! Same goes for Walcott.

Instead of Walcott why not try for Zaha? Sturridge is no doubt quality but with Charlie Austin already in the team is it wise to buy another injury prone player? It could be great if they alternated injuries so one could always play but a bit risky? Your fan base seems to think changing manager is the more vital point as a genuine question what’s he feeling around the club will he be there much longer?

Barnes left peg, the feeling around a lot of the fan base here is one of disillusion. even many of the more positive fans and people on this page are struggling to remain that way. The last 2 managers and few transfer windows have been poor for us. This January is absolutely vital. If we don't do good business with th vvd money then we are looking at a relegation battle. Puel I though would have been a success in the long term for us but the end of last season and frustrating displays in Europe lost him his job. This manager is a lot worse, and I think he's the first bad appointment we've made in years.

Any other Saints getting bored with people saying were idiots for letting Puel go? Just because MP is useless I for one wouldn't want Puel back. If Leicester lose Mahrez and Vardy they'll start to see him for what he is, the praise for me is just media nonsense.

Spot on BT who is going to fail at Leicester when you have those sort of players in the squad (in fact I think they a fantastic squad) the problem is your upset one of them you tip the whole cart hence Shakespeare and Ranieri.

They sacked Ranieri after winning the PL with those same players, I think CP was sacked prematurely, there was no need. He should have been given this season to prove himself . I bet you would have loved him forever if we ( and we should have done ) won the League Cup Final.

What's situation with Vlaar Ed. Lambert made statement that he's staying. Is that staying or Les Reed staying?

Strange Fonte and Koeman insinuating that Saints forced them out.
Why would we force the manager and captain out of the club? They tried to engineer better financial situations for themselves and Saints didn't bow down.
Now there gone who cares? If Stephens has 20 good games he'll be worth 8 million to (at least to Liverhampton) and Fonte can enjoy finishing 9th.

Fonte has been a great captain and player but let's face it he's left for money. The fact West Ham have paid that much to me is absolutely bizarre.

I think its a bit sad he's gone to Everton. Not a step up from us. And I think he's too good for Everton even think Spurs would have been better as at least they could be in Champs League.

I totally agree Milky get some perspective. People who moan now obviously have short memories and even when we were in the Premier league we had Merrington, Branfoot and some shocking signings (Kerry Dixon/ David Speedie well past there Chelsea prime) We have good players and a manager with Champ League experience. Few signings and were fine.
