I just read that Carlos Corberon is moving from WBA to Valencia, as they are happy to pay the 2.5 m that that we baulked at, as he was ostensibly our first choice.So we quibbled over that 2.5m which is nothing in the grand scheme of things, it just shows the level of ambition at SFC at this time. My expectation level is at absolute rock bottom, bring on 2025!

Hi guys,
I watched the Brentford vs Forest game and I could not help but make comparisons between SFC and these teams. Watching Brentford and Forest play out so comfortably from the back transitioning so quickly from defense to attack, just reminded me a) we give the ball away far too easily and when we do go forward the transition is pitifully slow and ponderous.b) The commentators commented how good the recruitment process was on both sides, and both these clubs were great examples of how smaller Premiership clubs should be run,
again ours has been quite frankly appalling. We have consistently overpaid for frankly too many players who are not premiership quality.It is depressing how far this club has sunk and just how much money has been wasted.c) Watching the end of the West Ham game vs Brighton and how brave Wan Bissaka was just before the end of the game and I honestly couldn't imagine any Saints player showing such commitment and potentially incurring an injury.There needs to be a total review of how this club operates from top to bottom as the heart and club ethos seems sadly lacking.I have no confidence that we can stay up and when we do go down, I think it highly unlikely that we will be good enough to go straight back up.I cannot think of a more depressing time to be a Saints fan.Merry Xmas

I see we are 4-0 down and its not even halftime, if we persist with this idiot, I would have to ask if he is someone's love child? . I guess the next question is can we keep it to single figures? :I feel sorry for anyone who has paid good money to watch this garbage.The next question is what manager would want to come in and take over this clown show? . You inherit a crap squad of mediocre players that without exception we paid too much money for.This whole campaign has been totally mismanaged from top to bottom, we are likely to set records for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the rest of the clubs within the Sport Republic group aren't as poorly run as SFC or they would drive anyone into bankruptcy. I am here in the Us thankfully watching the Chelsea game and I will avoid the Saints hilights? What a season!

Hi guys,
A note that I just read said Southampton City Council and SFC have just announced plans to increase the stadium capacity plus a waterfront development. Is it April 1st? and was any reference made to our present league position? Sometimes you can't make this rubbish up! How many will we lose by on Sunday? even with a weakened Spurs team I still think it will be 3 or4. I am just glad I don't own a cat or dog otherwise I would be being charged by the RSPCA for animal cruelty! Lol
