Did anyone watch the Huddersfield game? I thought when Shane Long came on for the first 5 mins in right wing he looked like he gave their left back all sorts of problems. Surely there's a case for him starting there as with his pace, work rate and knowledge of where a forward should be he'll cause defences all sorts of problems and provide some much needed service for gabbi! My problem with Long has always been his inability to consistently convert chances to goals but as a provider I think he could really add something to the team. That's of course if we stick to the 4-2-3-1 formation we've been playing. Alternatively switching to a 3-5-2 with Bertrand and Soares providing width could also work. Finally I think if McCarthy can prove his fitness he'll surely be getting the nod over Forster as he just doesn't look the same keeper that we signed, this has ultimately been proven by his exclusion from the latest England squad.
