At last Caceras comes. Could be the signing of the winter. We create chances and in Monolo we have a finisher, now our weakened defence through sales and injury have a bit of backbone, and more importantly, competition. Caceras is good, because he will force the other potential centre backs to perform at their best or they won't be in. Debut in the final?

Archer is a top player guys, he’s not a centre forward battering ram and he’s not a last line defender! He’s a pure out and out striker who will score lots of goals in his career if deployed in the correct manner.

Spot on Millertime, all the young players will be suffering with confidence loss the longer this charade of purists football continues. Give Archer 10 games with a target man alongside him and he will score goals. If we aren’t going to play Onaucha then maybe Bamford on loan or a fit Stewart.

It’s also fair to say, when we’ve got the ball we are most likely to concede.

This obsession with GKs playing out from the back is causing huge embarrassment for much better teams than us as well - ask Mr Pickford amongst others!
