Vestergaard to LCFC Avery good result all round considering the current circumstances besides. SFC don’t need any player who is not happy and less than 100% committed to our Club. Hoping for a great start at Everton. Suggested team - Forster KWP Perraud (Stephens/ Bednarek) Salisu JWP Romeu Tella S Armstrong Adams A Armstrong Subs—Broja Livramento Stephens/ Bednarek McCarthy Walcott Diallo Redmond/ Djnepo K O M.

Will be interesting to review our comments after 3 months. Things beginning to take shape with signings A. Armstrong and A Borja which will bring about a fresh positive energy up front assisting Che Adams and. Tella. With the young defenders bought to date Ralph is beginning to put his own personal stamp on the team for the first time since his arrival. Add a class C/ B ( when Vestergaard exits) and a quality MID, . the Pride and Passion will return and force a transformation in spirit. For the record I believe given time Adam Armstrong and Borja will quickly become fan favourites with their pace and two footed scoring ability ( Danny who)? A competent young keeper for January and we’re flying! KOM.

Hey Matt 32 Glad you agree Nunez is the business but price has to be considered with the bigger picture in mind i. e. spending extra on a proven goal scorer at ELITE level will give us much more chance of remaining in the Premier League after next season with a prospective payout of approx 130 million. We cannot expect the likes of Long and Redmond to replace a talisman and Ralph will only get one chance to spend the Gollden Egg he’s been handed. ( A further gift from a probable Vestergaard sale a good possibility) ps From what I have seen Edouard a few times who looks like a Scottish Div. B player!

Uruguayan 22 year old Benfica centre forward Darwin Nunez profile reads well!

A change of mind - Perhaps Danny Ings is not that Judas who traded his Hometown Club for a few extra bags of Silver but a compassionate guy who appreciated many months of nursemaiding to keep him fit by SFC physio staff and realising his career was fast approaching twilight time has shown his unwavering affection by hoodwinking Aston Villa into donating 30 million pounds to SFC coffers in an attempt to preserve his Hometown Club status in the Premier League. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING DANNY!

After reading reports I find it very unusual for SFC to put out a statement naming their preferred successor to Ralph at this time. Could the Big Fella be on the move? -Hope not at this stage but for the record please add Graham Potter and Eddie Howe to head up the list of prospective candidates!

{Ed077's Note - genuine question, Who is the preferred successor to RH named by Southampton?

Although I have criticised Ralph in the past for his short comings at times but he is still a well respected and knowledgeable coach who would likealy be a success in the Championship League where some of his uncanny team selections and questionable substitutions would be punished far less quickly than in the Premiership. Perhaps eyes will begin to be cast east coast wards towards Brighton and Graham Potter if current draws continue. The question is would he be interested? The speculation regarding Sam Johnstone would be an excellent move- Top Drawer (if the points aren’t accumulating he may be required in January)!

Well Ralph seems to have taken credit for his formation when the posters on this site have repeatedly expressed their views for settled regular full backs, Diallo in for Romeu (albeit a yellow card or injury forced. this change)! JWP further forward and Broja up top (but not selected from kick off. )? Djnepo the jury still out. I’ve concluded that Redmond is. Ralph’s ‘Favourite Boy’ (similar to Walcott) who. was picked regardless of form and who both render the whole team 10% underpowered which ultimately puts extra pressure on the remaining players. This has been evident for weeks gone bye but Ralph chooses to play him in preference to Tulla. It’s somewhat comparable to expecting an old car to perform with one spark plug misfiring! Assuming that with S. Armstrong available and Adams champing at the bit Ralph may just (Fall Into) his best x1)unexpectedly in the future courtesy of future player injuries/ reprimands. This game was another opportunity missed!
