even Luke has said he`s not going, it doesn't stop the rumours, just a way of unsettling him, he obviously has good people around him to keep him grounded.

1.) Read the article on the tv sport site about us (Sorry if that has to be censored then you won't understand what I've said, but it is a good read). The atmosphere that has been worked on so well as to get the players socialising and enjoying working together promoting a very positive and supportive attitude around the saints camp.

1.) Yes, it's a great interview. Won a few quid on Saturday with a bet on Dani to score for Saints!

Preseason, I thought that Jay-Rod would be our top scorer this year. Now, I think perhaps that Dani will claim that honor.

1.) £12m paid. Highly rated, replaced a popular squad member who came third in player of season vote last year who made a difference to the team when he returned from injury and helped secure safety.
Expected big things of Bic but we seem to be all saying "he'll be great when he improves". It's Lallana, Jrod, Morgan, Lovren, JWP, Clyne, Boruc etc that have been doing the business and he just stands there giving fouls away and dodgy passes, and some experts think that's his job in the team.
Only an opinion, obviously not shared by Poch but we're all entitled to one

2.) Sorry but you all keep jumping on a players back that has been part of a team that is 7th in the table and that is some achievement for a team like us.

3.) A team like us?
Thought we were champions league hopefuls?

4.) So, our £12m player has to be criticised (because he is a £12m player?) but when replaced by a popular squad member who then lost the ball that led to a goal (and what did he do at Sunderland in the Cup) we are supposed to not notice that? And, no, he did not make the cross, that was Fonte.

Sorry, I am not trying to criticise Jack but it simply shows that EVEN a player who has played best part of a season within a team in the EPL finds it difficult to suddenly get up to speed after a while out. So why do some expect Victor to hit the ground running when he has no previous experience of the EPL or his team mates?

Your opinion is certainly valid, but I would understand it a little better if it was not one sided.

5.) Vic played the 90 minutes against Arsenal and Chelsea plus the first half we lost against Villa but not the second half we drew.

Just wanted to offer a balanced view.

Any positive comments for our deb`s last night?
I thought Adam gave his all, not such a good start for Jay, shame about the weak attempt on goal for him.

1.) I too thought Lallana did quite well. To me he seemed one of England's brightest sparks and deserves another run out. Jay-Rod did nothing wrong, but didn't particularly shine - then again he has some days like that for Saints.

Overall, I was more disappointed with the experienced players. The midfield lost almost every battle, and they couldn't retain the ball. They offered no service for the forwards, and as the game went on Rooney got deeper and deeper just to try to get involved.

As for Chile, thought that there were similarities in the way that they play to Saints.

2.) I went to the game and England looked like a team without a plan, Rooney pressed hard up the pitch Lallana and J-Rod at first tried to press but soon found out that the rest of the team were not playig the high pressing game and so it all stopped apart from Rooney running around like crazy on his own up front.
There was no spine to the team, no bite and there looked like no game plan. Like smeone had just said this is your positions now just go out and play and let's see how it goes.

3.) What a shame they didn't give Woy the Germany job.

The only positive I can take from Woy's wegime is that he seems keen to try new talent.

The problem with England is that they always pick the best individuals for the team, rather than the best players to make a team.

For me, a prime example is the Southampton Team. Yes we have quality players, but each player's priority is the team, and together we are beating teams (such as Man City last year) that are filled with far better quality individuals.
