Just saying. with matthew ryan over in London having a trial at Spurs, if AVB doesnt see anything, could saints not give him a go on trial? I know he plays in the a-league, im from aus and i admit that it is crap quality, but we do have some decent youngsters. and with butland not wanting to leave, ryan is a good young keeper for the future

Nigel Adkins Tells Sky Sports that..
He is confident they will be given the green light, allowing Davis to form part of their Premier League plans in 2012/13. Also "We won't risk him at the weekend, we'll make sure he is right, but he is 100 per cent a Southampton player and if he is fit, he could play tomorrow (Saturday).".

Anyone read the thing about him wanting to qualify for europe lets hope we dont get get over optimistic
