How isn't Cork in the team, seriously he should be starting but to not even play him on the bench is ridiculous, Guly makes the bench and Cork doesn't? What's with that

I agree cork is a brill player he deserves to play

Agree0 Disagree0

I've been posting similar comments for some time now - it's ridiculous he has proven himself - top quality player - Bring Back Jack Cork

Would like to see all three, with spider playing in the forward role centrally. He's proved he has an eye for goal. Osvaldo and jay rod either side of him, RL up front.
On the big positive our defence looks as strong as anything in the league which we couldn't say this time last year.

Agree with spider up front, with jay and dani either side, ricky up front, good post hadn't thought of that!

What do people think of Wanyamas peformances so far for the saints?. I thought he was still a little too raw to make the step up to the BPL. just an interested Celtic fan

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He's been alright, although I think he's been a bit too eager to impress, trying to play wonder passes that he evidently can't play.
Against West Ham, especially, I expected him to shine, however he only really picked up the pace in the second half, after misplacing quite a few simple passes. And even his second half wasnt spectacular, except for a dipping 30 yard volley that was saved.
I think his best performance has been against West Brom, where he just focused on defending and not playing world class through balls.
Definitely not up to speed yet, but I'm willing to see how he gets on once he's adjusted properly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't rate him from what I've seen so far. His size and shape make him fairly immobile in my opinion and he misplaced so many simple passes against Westham. Feel for Jack Cork who I've never seen have a bad game for Saints

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with the above posting - Jack Cork IS a better player and SHOULD be in the starting line up

Superb against West Brom. Interceptions galore. Strong on the ball. Strong in the tackle. Passing fine. Poor against Norwich and Sunderland. Just didn't seem to work for him at all. Misplacing really simple passes. Okay against West Ham. Looked like he grew in confidence as the game went on. Based on the last 3 performances I'm not sure I'd put him in instead of Cork but he looked great against
West Brom.

We got bumped give our penny's back he would get out played by a player we bought for a couple of mill when we were in the championship

Agree0 Disagree0

Ive been to all the matches apart from the liverpool match and his performances have been: amazing-average-poor-average. I think he just needs time to adajust to premier league life and style. I don't think we can judge him too soon in a couple of months maybe but not now

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he too lethargic? What I mean by that is he seems to give the ball away to easily when under no pressure. That is rather worrying if you ask me. Saying that, his physical presence in the middle of the park would I imagine, scare the life out of most of his opponents. If only he could sort his passing out, he would be immense.
