David Marshall to southampton for 8 million could be the best signing so far for southampton why this is going on what's you opinions on david marshall and 8 million? do you think he will be a great signing? and if it was you how much would you pay for him. I would pay up to 10 million then look else where.

David Marshall by far is the best keeper in this country. You know I think we might get him for under 10 mill. That is a bargain.

Marshall is nowhere near the best in the country! Cech, Lloris, Krul, Howard. There are so many brilliant goalkeepers in the Premier Leage, Marshall was brilliant for Cardiff & saved them from what could've been huge score lines, however he is nowhere near the best in the county.

Can we agree to disagree Finn but I think if we don't sign him we will have missed the boat. Only reason he is not classed as the top keeper is because he played for Cardiff. Look deeper into his stats and let me know if you've changed your mind.

A bit disappointed with the Tadic interview on the official website. Seems like he can't emphasise enough that he sees Saints as a stepping stone and a great place to showboat his talent ready for a bigger team to notice him.

What do u expect I think all players wanna play for one of the giants of the game

he didn't quite say that but what do you expect. If Saints don't get serious and start competing at the top he will be off plus quite a few others.

Come on - how pessimistic are you lot! he's just signed and wants to be here. Be happy for once!

As English is his second language, I think he was struggling to express himself, I did`nt get that from his interview that he saw us that way, hope not anyway.

Watch the interview on the other website. He comes over completely differently and has his heart on his sleeve to do well for us. What is wrong with you lot.

realy hope saints are playing hardball with lovren
lallana was bad enough with his attitude
lovren slagging saints and saying he will go on strike is a whole different ball game
hit him hard in the pocket with fines and do NOT SELL him to liverpool
sell him abroad just to really piss him off

I'd like to see Lovren work in the club shop. The really early shifts. Maybe even night duties with a broom!

Sure we could do with £20 - £25M but he's totally taking the p*** out of a club that has upped his profile massively. He needs to be shown what loyalty is about and the punishment for slagging the club off should be firm. F+++ him. Nobody is irreplaceable. Onwards and upwards. COYS

The Management need to be congratulated thus far for holding out and not making it easy for Lovren.
