Inside information from St. Mary's is that Gaston Ramirez has failed to adapt to life in England and will seek a Summer move back to Italy where AC Milan & Florentina are willing to accept the £15mill valuation fee.
(Source: Full time steward at southampton Fc & also Ramirez's wife has already moved back to Itay)
1.) Frustratingly believable I think, not sure why a steward would know this though. If we do sell him though who would we draft in to replace a player like him because he is classy and in a position we need him for.
2.) I don't believe it. but I know that you can add juventus and inter milan to that list.
i was a bit more than a steward, and used to work directly with the players on match days. and there's no way a steward would know that, unless rameriz has told him directly. (does rameriz talk english? )
somehow rameriz wouldn't be happy that this kind of information would be leaked this close to the end of the season
3.) We all know that Gaston Ramirez has had a tough time since joining due to personal problems with one of his parents being seriously ill. Gaston has shown flashes of brilliance this year, and I'm sure that there are many suitors for his signature. He may well leave in the summer, however there are two things that are for certain.
1) it won't be for less that we paid for him and 2) we will be strengthening our squad this summer not weakening it by selling off our prized players. Look for greater quality to our overall squad as Nicola Cortese pushes Saints towards European football. He is a man on a mission!
4.) Heard we're monitoring the Granero situation, could be an adequate replacement? (although to be honest neither of them have taken the Prem by storm).
5.) Think that's a bit harsh cyberchris considering the tabloid junk you sometimes post. Thank you SaintsSteward for simply posting what you've heard. I also think it's frustratingly believable but agree 100% with the post above re Nicola.
6.) Would be a shame to see him go, looks very good and likely to be a great great player in the future, not many players from a foreign league have slotted straight in at a prem club hitting the floor running, Henry, Drogba, ronaldo, bergkamp, to name but a few had a slower first season. He's not a flop and will only get better.
7.) May I say that as a Steward we have Many Training Schemes with certain Saints fc representitves and I have heard from one that Ramirez is unfortunately moving back to italy due to family reasons.

btw Adel Tarrabt is a name circulating around as a replacement.
8.) Why would he buy a house in the area, if his wife is already gone and knowing he's leaving in the summer? Try making up a rumour with some credibilty
9.) Can't see him leaving. I think given time Poch will get the best out of him. Also, Adel Tarrabt would be an awful replacement. Has the consistency of Jimmy kebe
10.) I think he will be better next season does take a while to settle in the prem but he is abit greedy and has to sort his delivery's out but has loads of potential.
11.) Scored a great goal today, seems to be enjoying life more and more at St Mary's and I think he will settle over the summer and we will still see him as a saint next season.
12.) Ramirez was awesome yesterday. He looked constantly to be trying to affect the game in a possitive way, and I wasn't at all surprised when he scored.
I understand that the family problems are back in Uraguay, so why would he move back to Italy to help sort out family problems?
Sorry mate, I can see Ramirez moving if someone stumps up enough cash, and he wants to move, but your rumour is rubbish made up with hearsay. Something special is happening at St Mary's and I hear Gaston wants to be part of it.
13.) I always say to everyone that tells me "gaston is rubbish and a waste of 12 million" that he has a lot of talent, he has bags of potential and he will be birrliant for us. Players who have got the talent in the end will be good! Form is temporary class is permanent! Torres has scored quite a few goals this season in the league and cup.
14.) Good player, can see he's got talent. but like a young theo walcot he does not seem to know when to run and when to pass

I Can only Share what I Hear From inside St Mary's,
No Mention of any New Stadium since I've Been there (3yrs) And to be honest Weather it's Public Knowledge or Not I Only express what I Get Told!

As a Steward For Southampton and Hearing Directly From a high Superior of Southampton Football Club I Can Happily Say That Any News of a possible New Stadium is Completely FALSE!
Within The Next 2 years & Based on Our Status in The EPL Saints Will Look into Upgrading St Mary's Stadium With an Upper Tier Across The Kingsland Stand Which Will Look to Expand our Capacity From 32,000 To Around 40-45,000.
Depending on our Success over a 2yr Period We Will Be Looking to Expand The Kingsland Side with an Upper Tier & Looking at Hitting a 45Kish Seater Stadium.

Thibaut Courtois is set to be valued at £18.6 million & saints are very unwilling to participate in any deal.
Therefore reports referring to saints interest in Thibaut Courtois are wrong. Boruc will be signing a new contract and remain first choice Gk for next season.
