Southampton preparing a 12 million offer for Leon Goretzka from Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum.

18 year old CM whose playing style has been compared to the likes of Michael Ballack.

Believable4 Unbelievable12

Doubt it he will be in Germany team in couple of years time

Agree5 Disagree6

Seems a lot of money to pay for such an unknown.

Agree10 Disagree4

I think Vfl Bochum would do a Suarez if we offered that kind of money for him. (I. e. they'd bite our collective hand off).

Saints are prepared to outbid West Brom in the race for Romelu Lukaku with a figure of 25million. Chelsea are planning a summer of high profile signings with Falcao and Cristiano Ronaldo on the top of their list, while Lukaku wants first team football.

Thomas Ince, Davide Astori, Victor Wanayama, Iago Aspas & Frederik Sorensen complete the list of top targets.

Believable8 Unbelievable10

I know lukaku has looked good but for 25million we could get a high profile striker

Agree12 Disagree3

I would love love love this to be true.

£25million is over-priced. But he could be one of the best strikers in the league and would be the perfect replacement for Lambert (strong, powerful, eye for a pass).

I'm highly dubious whether there are any legs in this rumour, but fingers crossed.

Agree7 Disagree0

Tbh with the champions league wanted in 2 years I wouldn't be suprised if we tried this or a signing for the same money

Trev saint

Agree4 Disagree2

Is this just because he ran us ragged on saturday

Agree8 Disagree1

Chelsea paid about 15 if I remember rightly would love this to be true but carnt see it myself

Agree8 Disagree1

How likely are Chelsea to actually sell Lukaku? Surely he is a better striking option than Torres or Ba for them? But would be a good player to sign if we managed it.

Agree4 Disagree1

Financial fair play regs start this summer don't they?! 25mill is surely near our limit isn't it? Not entirely sure how it works but I'm confident out sponsorship deal isn't big enough to qualify us for massive spending, despite his much may be available? I would expect NC to be looking abroad for 10-15 mill value players instead.

Agree2 Disagree2

Utter rubbish, for a start he's not being sold, he will go on loan to the albion again, and if he was for sale bigger and better clubs would be in for him. and you might want champs lge in 2 seasons but you ain't going to get it in your life time, you're little Southampton ffs, lol

It makes me laugh that people come on to our rumour site and make these angry comments about stuff that doesn't and mainly shouldn't concern them, but I better wrap this up because I have to go read about what people are saying about exeter, bristol and plymouth and then make some angry comments. I couldn't think of anything more lame. No offence to those teams mentioned but you get my point.

Agree6 Disagree0

All this who we are going to buy talk when as yet we are still not safe from relegation. Spurs, Sunderland and then Stoke. Points first then we can do the rumours.

Agree3 Disagree1

If you don't want to do the rumours yet, come back in 3 weeks!

Lenny

Agree5 Disagree2

In fairness. He isn't going to displace Torres or Ba. If Jose comes back they will sign more players. They even paid for sturridge and let him out. And he has arguably been even more prolifc on current form.

In league 1 my dream signing upon takeover was Rickie, it happened. In the championship I wanted cork and Billy. they happened. This summer I want Lukaku. Come on NC. Or do I need to right you (Father Christmas) a letter and set it on fire again?

Agree1 Disagree2

Well said lenny

Arsenal believed to be putting in £10 milkion bid for schneiderlin. no chance

Believable11 Unbelievable10

Leave our Morgan alone! You already took away Theo and Alec so hands off

Agree14 Disagree0

Double it, then we'll talk.

Agree8 Disagree7

Saw this on the sun this morning. 30million Wenger, then we will talk. As long as we can loan him back till he's 34

Agree9 Disagree4

He's just sighed a new contract no chance!

Agree12 Disagree1

It's not a big step up for schinderlin to be fair, Arsenal never win anything, the only better thing about Arsenal is champions league football, which they never stay in that long.

Agree6 Disagree1

I can see Morgan heading to United one day. I would love him to stay at Saints but I think he will be Champions League quality in a few years time.

Agree3 Disagree3

I'm sure there's 18 other prem clubs who also 'want' him for £10M but i'm equally sure he ain't going anywhere. Anybody who has a clue about Cortese knows this is page filling rubbish. Hopefully he will be playing for us in the Champions League in a few years time.

Agree8 Disagree1

Suggest Wenger should read Morgan on the Saints WS!

Sorry Arsene, think you will get the message this time from NC!

Saint Martin

Agree4 Disagree0

Can't see him leaving us any time soon, nowhere better for him to be at the moment, here he has first team Premiership football and a chance at being a top team within a few seasons if Cortese's plan is pulled off.

Agree2 Disagree1

Arsene had his chance to buy Schneiderlin when we went down to the championship as well as when we went down to league 1! He turned them down because he loved the club so now we are in the pl no chance!

Agree6 Disagree1

I agree totally. And to top it all, I think Wenger would far rather deal with another club for a similar player. I'm sure most clubs now will struggle to sign players from Cortese with any degree of ease, particularly if he wants to hang in to them.

Agree6 Disagree0

He will go, don't know what planet you lot are on, you will never compare with Arsenal, he will get 1st team football and champs lge, the latter being something he will never get at Southampton. deluded, lol.

Agree0 Disagree10

A lot of us our deluded but not about this he won't be up for sale for a price Arsenal will deem reasonable

Agree4 Disagree0

£10m for one of the best cdm in the premier league, no chance NC will take this offer, plus Morgan has already rejected Arsenal twice.

Agree4 Disagree2

The skate is back calling Saints fans deluded, go back to league 2 skate! It Still makes me laugh, league 2 HA!

Agree5 Disagree0

Oh, I thought 'deluded' was the name he signed in as, lol. He's certainly very ignorant but don't suppose there's much need of prem knowledge in L2.

Agree2 Disagree0

Haha true saint gazza

Agree0 Disagree0

London, more wages, champions league and strong possibility of top 4 finish.

Come on if he wanted to move he will checks his stats I would be surprised if the arsenal are the only big 5 team who are interested.

I hope not but you have to realistic now we are back in the big time.

Southampton assistant manager Jesus Perez was a Fir Part to look at Celtic winger Victor Wanyama {Ed001's Note - I hope he wasn't watching him thinking he is a winger, he is certainly not a wideman! The lad is a central midfielder.}

Believable8 Unbelievable2

Did Wanyama not say only last week or the week before that he is going no where?

Agree3 Disagree1

Ed, that's not fair! you shot down his rumour before it started! lol

Agree5 Disagree2

Was reported in the papers. Not like most of the rumours on here which have just been made up {Ed001's Note - and what do you think the papers do? Oh yes, they just make it up! They even have competitions to make up the silliest stories and see if they get believed. I remember one caused outrage, regarding the EU regulations saying bananas had to be a certain shape, no such regulation existed, but no one questioned it because it was in the papers.}

Agree3 Disagree1

Just saying I haven't made it up.
And Perez Did travel to Fir Park. Whether to watch Wanyana specifically I don't know.

Agree2 Disagree0

He could go if nc thinks he can replace with better player
