SFC do need someone to take the load off Pelle. If he is out injured who would lead the attack?

Personally I would like to see Austin and VVD then we are done. We would have a good squad.

Reckon it's Gallagher who will be a straight swap for Pelle this season. Still need a Jack Cork & Toby replacement (especially if Gardos is out longterm).

Yeah Gallagher didn't play last season because of his knee and they didn't want to rush him back, he'll play a lot more this season

I agree, CBs are the only area we need to strengthen now. If we can get in at least one very strong player in that position I think we have a good balanced squad.
Don't forget with the injuries they had we have effectively bought 3 strikers this transfer window. (j-roy, Juanmi and Gallagher )
Granted Sam was just getting fit during the back end of the season but not ready for the first team.
Very pleased to see the result against Feyenoord but let's no get ahead of ourselves as Vitesse beat them 4-1 as recently as May at their place.
These are going to be tough opening games in Europe.

Some sites suggesting Sam will go out on loan. Despite me wanting to see him more this season it might be better to get more games under his belt as not sure how many games he would realistically get for us?
