So bookies have stopped taking bets on VVD to Liverpool. Honestly if we sell another player to them i may as well just support them . Really sick and tired of this now. Before all you lot start on about support your club they have to do it crap i'm 50 and sick of seeing us robbed of talent. Sick of being a feeder club for top 6 clubs. I honestly believe VVD could become in every of the best players in the world he has everything and I genuinely think it is boredom when he switches off and makes a mistake. Has 6 yrs left in deal and will only get better one more year a full season then I'll be amazed if Barcelona or real don't buy him.

I think if he went to Barcelona it would have a huge step to them dominating football again. their defence is crap virgil would be unbelievable for them. not that I want him to go but I'd rather he went to Barcelona than sodding liverpoo.

I don't care how much they offer for virgil I think just for once the board should stick to their word and not sell even if he wants to leave we are paying his wages while he's injured so we can pay wages for him or anyone else on a long term contract to warm the bench their price will not go down. So I say to the board GROW A PAIR.

Appears he is off to Liverpool and for 50m plus and 200k a week can't really blame him. I would assume he is on no more than 60k at saints so it looks like goodbye. Clearly the board have to ratify the move before personal terms can be discussed (as otherwise this would be tapping up) but would appear he is off. Seems we are strongly linked with the sporting centre half. Also appears to make Puel a liar as he stated that we don't intend to sell. Another pre season of turmoil looms I think getting really sick of this whoever is going go soon whoever is coming get them in soon players and managers and shut up shop for a full pre season please.

It's not about the wages. It's a joke that our players keep going to Liverpool. Considering we finished above them for two seasons in a row. They haven't won any major trophies for years. Sure they have champions league football next season but it's more than unlikely they'll retain it and progress. If he went to Chelsea I would understand, they've just won the Premier League etc. I'd rather see him go to a successful European club than the likes of Liverpool.

You seem to be forgetting that Liverpool has one of the biggest fan bases in the World, and are still one of the biggest clubs in world football.
Add to that one of the best Managers, and you must realise why some of your top players have chosen to come to us. And, might I say. they're all very happy and enjoying their football under Jurgen Klopp, and hopefully, if we sign him, so will VVD.

Haven't got a problem with scousehamptons history (grew up watching European football when it meant something) I do have a problem with a scouting system that is lazy and other clubs doing the donkey work, they didn't want mane until klopp insisted on it, lovren a one season mercenry snake, lallana kiss the badge and contract extension turncoat, the only good thing to come out of this is your once great club has became a laughing stock buying players they could have got for a fraction of the price, and if you want to give us 50 million for virgil crack on you could have got him for 10 lol.
