I don't understand why when all us fans are saying their best 11 they pick gabbiadini I know he done well for the first few games he played but the last time he scored was the cup final I think Austin is a better option obviously when fit.

I think he was totally disjointed in the style of play. he became totally isolated and that as a striker means you look like you're doing nothing. but from what I saw his finishing, his movement, reading of the game and knowledge makes him look like a starter for me. Alongside a target man so long and Austin would be bench if we got a really good target man.

Have you seen gabbiadini playing for italy recently? He's immense and is scoring goals for them. You need to get the ball to the striker for him to score goals.

Gabbiandini's reading of the game is IMMENSE . he reminds me of Teddy S or Alan Shearer . knows exactly when to go, when to hold. basically, he knows EXACTLY where the goal is! just give him the damn ball!

I'm not saying he's not a good but you e just listed the things that makes Austin as good as he is he's always in the right place at the right time and you can rely on him to find the net.

Agree on his movement Rich; Gabbi looks a class striker (though I don't see the Shearer comparison at all) and his movement reminds me of watching suarez for liverpool a few years back. Great nose for goal and should be one of the first names on the team sheet going into next year.
