Time and time again, RM's tactics have been exposed and this time by bottom of the league. His star boy Stephens once again was shocking and the substitution to bring Ugochukwu on for our most dynamic player Lallana when Ugochukwu is the most passive player going is unforgivable. The only player I saw play for the badge today (and every other game this season for that matter) was Fernandes.

Teams seem to have figured out that Saints won't cross the ball, there is no plan B until we are are 2 goals down and it doesn't give Tall Paul a chance to get into the game. RM plays to stay in the game as long as possible and if still level at 80 mins might go for a winner but at that point it's usually too late other than last week at Everton. You don't stay in the PL playing like that. We were unlucky with a few decisions that didn't go our way but you won't get results regardless of you can't even have a shot on target in the second half.

Too much loyalty to players that our clearly out of their depth. Stephens and Armstrong had the opportunity already to prove they are PL players but one couldn’t score more than a handful of goals and the other was loaned out to Bournemouth.

My issue with RM is his ego about the brand of football - 4 out of the 5 goals we have conceded this season in the PL have all come from playing out of the back that clearly doesn’t work. His argument that it creates more opportunities than it poses threats is nonsensical, we haven’t even scored in the league yet.

Aribo constantly looks like he’s running in treacle and has no desire to move forward either.

Start Dibling, Matheus and Archer and actually play a striker down the middle who can actually hit the target. Let the kids play freely and see where we are come January.
