OS announced Romeu to sign as CDM cover! Good Signing to bulster the squad.
Still expecting a decent CD though, any news anyone?

Apparently koeman is intent on signing vvd this summmer and is convinced he will, for around 10mil

Looks like it's definitely happening with VVD not far behind. They seem to have kept Dave Watson out of the loop on this one, else DorsetSaint would have let us know about it. Probably due to his nephew's inability to keep shtum:-)

It's official now. Romeu signed on a three-year deal. Rumoured fee around £5m.
Could go either way, this one. He had bags of promise a couple of years ago and is still only 23. However he has had a serious knee injury along the way and not made much impact in the last few seasons.
But he's a DMC, not a weedy midget, has good pedigree having come through at Barcelona. In theory he's just what the squad has been crying out for.
Cautiously optimistic.

Just what the Dr ordered. fantastic signing for us. no nonsense type, strong, always looking to get on the ball and still a ripe age. this could be some fantastic business. we won't have the individual quality of spider but its safe to say we have more quality and depth, barring the CB we are all waiting for. Its nice to see the squad taking real shape, tailored for the season ahead.

We also could be signing Koulibaly and VVD . If we r looking for proper depth, bring both in. Excited about this season

Don't think we will go for both , I think RK knows we can't hang about and Koulibaly to me is as good if not better than VVD . Still rather have Abdennour but unlikely to happen . Celtic are stalling so let's leave them to it . We need strength in the CB position now and the team and squad will then be a unit to reckon with and will be able to hold their own against anybody .
