a club source is stating that both spider and rodriguez are going nowhere despite the interest from spuds and liverhampton. we are also aiming for a GK a CB and an Attacker by the end of this week. ralph kreuger will be making a statement at 4. 00pm.

Yep. Confirmed on sky sports. Jay and morgan are not for sale and they are looking long term at the club with da do ron ron at the helm.

Proofs in the pudding but not selling these two is a big step for us. Now we need the new players

It was a positive statement from kreuger. I've said this a hundred times over spider should be given the arm band and is the most vital cog in us playing attractive attacking football. over the last 2 seasons no one has more tackles and interceptions in the PL. hopefully we can get forster and van dijk in by the end of the week for 18m. This season is the first in a new 5 year plan and will be a rebuilding process. we are not being sold.

It's ok saying they are not for sale, but nor were our other top players. I have also seen eds and others post on other pages saying if we don't sell then they will force a move. Given our track record, if spider hands in a transfer request he is going. I would like to see him commit his future, to show that he is behind the owners going forward.

Freddy also said we've reached our tipping point so stop flapping your gums, they're staying. for now. I thought it was a very honest interview both on TS and Solent. Adam Blackmore asked some great questions and I thought Wreck-It-Ralph's answers were very encouraging. There is only so much he can say from a business point of view and it seemed to me he was being very honest. I'm no mug and believe they have ultimately done the best they could for our long term future. with the exception of Calum. Chambers but that little bitch wants to sit on the bench for a year or two next to the other bit part Brits.

Guys. I am not new to this place, used to comment under a different name, but since registration feel I need to start afresh. As the log in name suggests, HM forces and still a Saints fan. and trust me, I can get more concessionary at a bigger club than that I get at home (remember coming home of tour and not being able to get a ticket as I hadn't been to a game in the last 3 months. NO s***!!), however, please let me comment on my views on how I perceive things so far: The club is selling. why?? Bloody good business! AL gone for stupid PRICE! LS most expensive teenager ever. RL- all the best mucka and good luck, you deserve it for your loyalty, Dejan; excellent business! Now face the next facts. Pelle, replaced RL; Tadic makes AL look well overpriced. Matty T was always going to be given a shot. We still have JC, MS & VW which was never a surprise! Not forgetting Ramirez! FFS, our only downfall was not signing Caulker. never the less, we have 3 young players fighting for a first team team place. Can anyone remember last season when we were Questioning Shaw / Chambers starting?? Bet you can't if you have short term memory loss! KL is NOT looking to sell, why. two reasons. 1. Her dad, 2. You don't make money selling your best assets. FACT as financially club is worth less. I agree, foreign players are not the way forward, but we are no longer a bottom table club, nor are we a top 6. We are a feeder club so accept that (better this than fighting to stay up). I am confident, signings will be made, maybe not in time for Anfield to thrash them, but in time to regroup! Problem is board are not coming forward which worries you (a leader will always explain to an extent, the decision making process, and there is a lack, which provides speculation and this needs to be addressed in future), but if Tadic and Pelle are anything to go by. we are in a good place. Just trust in the system (although they need to learn by mistakes, just like the rest of us) and we will all move forward. There is no way (Contractually) that a manager individual would be given the position without knowing the boards plans (UK Contract Law not European) so. I believe. patience is a virtue (also regardless of opposition), I can't remember friendlies where we have won and kept clean sheets! I love my country, I love my county and I love my club. Listened to the Krueger interview on talk sport, he was adamant that jrod and sneiderlin are not leaving this window. But that was before sneiderlin just tweeted how his 6 year journey has just been ruined in 1hour he doesn't seem very happy and wants to go. wonder if Krueger will now change his mind like we did with lovren

You start to realise what a difficult position the board are in. Out of all the players though I thought we could afford to lose spider! We have plenty of cm players.
Just because he said they are staying doesn't mean they want to stay. I say go the whole way and get rid of them if they want out, continue to rebuild and put this saga behind us.
Listening to talk sport and I think they are right when the said saints have proved there is a glass ceiling in the premier league.

This is not good very unprofessional of spider to act like this. Agree with above if they don't want to be with the club let them go and rebuild new team. The players staying loyal with the likes of Benali and le tiss are well and truly gone.

Totally agree with frank long. Morgan cannot be allowed to get his own way by behaving like this. We have other players capable of performing in his position so unless he apologises and comes into line he should be made to train alone and play for the U21 's. Time for the Club to make a stand.

Deffo not getting the armband now ha. I did post about spiders antics when it happened but a lot of my posts don't end up showing. every player has a premium price if that price is not met we have no problems keeping a player that doesn't want to be here - Wreck it ralph.

If players want to leave they need to hand in a transfer request.
Doing this will lose them money.
Thats why they are doing interviews in other national papers or tweeting stuff like Spider did.
Its the cheaper option for them
