Was at St Mary's at Burnley game and was really impressed with their right back, Trippier. I think he could be available at a decent price, and could improve under Koemans leadership and the quality at St Mary's. Does anyone think he could be an asset?

I watched that game and saw him get run at and beaten time and again by Bertrand. Defensively, he was bang average.
Takes a decent free kick, nice delivery, but would be a major downgrade in quality from Clyne.

I think Micah Richards would be ideal, people said at first that Bertand was a bad signing on loan, and look how well he's played! I think we could get his career back on track, I agree I'm not sure on Trippier, I think possibly Byram is one for the future?

According to Koeman we should know in about 10 days whether Clyne will be staying or not. But I'm sure Trippier will be one of a number of right backs the black box is monitoring.

Trippier looked ok going forward but not good defensively. Decent at set piece delivery but nowhere near Clyne for all round game.
