Jack Cork is close to a 3m move to Crystal Palace expected to be announced Thursday.
1.) RK is a very football-educated man. Terry Paine rightly named him his player of the season. all us fans could not only see his workrate. but his incredible contribution to each game, virtually running the show. so how we can just get rid of him I am at a loss.
watch last seasons games and its there to see.

Some reports saying we have bid £7.5 million for Forster, It also mentions there is a 25% sell on fee to Newcastle.
1.) Apparently Celtic have rejected the bid for Forster, the bid was far wide of the reported 7.5 million

2.) Did anybody see the brief interview with cork after his fitness test? When asked about whether he wanted to join other freinds in the England squad, he said that his main aim was to play first team football, and came across frustrated at the lack of opportunity at the beginning of last season.
I don't feel jack cork will be 100% happy at saints unless he is playing week in week out. If an offer comes in I think he will want assurances from the club. I really hope we offer him a new contract to warn off other clubs. I think he has the mentality to want to play regularly, rather than just playing for a bigger club. Check it out in the saints YouTube channel and see what I mean
3.) I don't think he would want to leave us for one of the mentioned clubs, hope he gets a new deal soon!

I personally think he's better than both Wanyama and schneiderlin after last season
5.) Under koeman I hope players are selected on merit. Wanyama when fit always seemed mopos preferred choice, even when cork played some superb games. Wanyama I hope will really need to impress to start ahead of cork or spider if he remains at the club

Not a rumour I know but was just wondering what other people think of TV live game schedule. After finishing eighth in the PL and playing very attractive football we have been given 2 live games between the start of the season and the beginning of December. Just goes to show that apart from us ( the loyal supporters of a great club ) nobody really is interested in us or taking us seriously. I say let's give Koeman and the team the best support we can to prove them wrong and show the rest of the country what they will be missing.
2.) Must be a bid on the table for him from Liverhampton or Spuds. sign jay sign!

It will be interesting to see what reports there are tomorrow, probably that there both still leaving! I feel a lot more confident about the current situation, I see it as a transitional stage and balancing the books. Looking forward to seeing these 3 signings, Anyone/ed's got any news on that front?

1.) Very happy to hear it, hope the media don't throw some horrible spin onto it in order to try to turn us into more of a laughing stock as some papers seem to enjoy doing.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has ruled out a move for him, Needless to say many other big clubs will be looking at him. I know he may of turned us down but would be a fantastic signing he is exactly what we need upfront.
I agree I think it would be the 'marquee' signing that we need. I did read today that 2 other clubs are looking at him, not to sure.
Unfortunately I think it's to late now we have confirmed the signing of Long.
In Koeman's interview yesterday he said 2-3 signings this weekend. Fingers crossed for one today!
Not sure if the Rojo deal will go through considering we just got Bertrand, hopefully we do and use him as a cb and to cover the left at times. I'm hoping Forster gets signed this week imo I think we could be stronger in the goalkeeping department. Not to sure who the 3rd will be.
